Built for practical correction

What you can do in ScoreInspect

Recognition is only the beginning. The review workspace helps you inspect the result before it leaves the browser.

PDF and image input

Upload common score formats without converting them in another tool first.

Optical music recognition

The recognition engine analyzes staves, notes, rests, clefs, and other notation elements.

Recognition overlay

See recognized symbols in context over the source page and hide the overlay when needed.

Visual corrections

Select, remove, and add musical symbols from a focused editing workspace.

Undo and redo

Move through recent corrections without restarting the review.

MusicXML export

Take the reviewed score into applications that support the MXL format.

How recognition works

Conventional OMR, not generative AI

ScoreInspect uses conventional optical music recognition to analyze the visual and musical structure of the uploaded page. It does not send the score to a generative AI model to invent or recreate the notation.
